HOW DOES IT WORK?
Mosquito ‘Cognito® Cuts Mosquito Landings Outdoors By 80%
The mosquito possesses a number of very sophisticated physiological
tools that make humans and animals easy prey for its insatiable appetite.
You see, when humans and animals exhale, they give off C02 (carbon
dioxide) and Octenol (an alcohol-based substance). Mosquitoes have sensors
that can detect the presence of these two chemicals at a distance of
almost 100 feet. Once mosquitos pick up the scent, they will immediately
change direction and fly rapidly toward their intended victim.
So how do you keep the mosquitoes from attacking? Until now, the only
solution was to apply a foul smelling, greasy repellent or light smokey
candles all around your porch or pool. The Mosquito 'Cognito® device
emits ConcealTM which is not a repellent, but a unique inhibitor that
blocks the keenest sense mosquitoes have - their sense of smell. Mosquitoes
tend to avoid the foul smell of Citronella oil and DEET, and instead
home-in on your scent. The ConcealTM inhibitor does what repellents
can't... it blocks the mosquito's ability to track your scent. In USDA
laboratory tests, the Mosquito 'Cognito® device was twice as effective
as DEET and many times better than Citronella oil at preventing mosquitoes
from homing in on human scent. If they can't find you, they can't bite
you!
The Mosquito 'Cognito® device controls mosquitoes and other backyard
pests so that people can retake control of their yards and enjoy the
outdoors...without being eaten alive by mosquitoes and other biting
insects.
The mosquito can SMELL exhaled Carbon Dioxide (C02) and Octenol at
100 feet and SEE their prey at 30 feet. The Mosquito 'Cognito® inhibitor
blocks your scent. If they can't smell you, they can't get close enough
to see you. No more bites!
